Hello again,
My name is Yash Gangal. Over the past four years, I have been trying to figure out where I fit in. This “figuring out” lead to exploring various roles and opportunities which came with creating some great work.
Working through all this, I found that I am most passionate about solving problems, learning new things, and bringing the best out of people around me. All these projects and experiences shined a light on strategy. The way I see it, strategy is understanding the tension between people. This understanding lays the foundation to find the human truths and the human truths inspire insight. Strategy combines the tensions, truths, insights, to create something actionable. At its core, strategy is human and human behavior.
Human behavior can be notoriously irrational when you expect it to be rational and vice versa. My mission is to make sense of this irrationality. This is the reason I am in graduate school: to learn, synthesize, and transform knowledge to create solutions. As I finish school, I continue to work to fine-tune my skills while also expanding my horizons. This includes tinkering with new technologies, reading more literature, and cultivating my curiosity.
